CUMBRE Humboldt’s mission is to seek and promote educational and enriching opportunities for Latinx families and individuals throughout Humboldt County. This award helps mitigate educational accessibility for Latinx individuals and helps narrow the achievement gap. Twice a year this award will provide ten students with $500. 

Applicants Must: 

• Be Latinx or Hispanic

• Reside in Humboldt County or attend or plan to attend a college/university/school in Humboldt County

• Demonstrate that they are enrolled or have applied to a college, vocational, or technical school

• Demonstrate financial need

NOTE:  There is no upper age or grade limit.

Applicants can apply for our Spring 2026 Scholarships between: Monday, April 20, 2026 at 8 am - Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 11 pm Pacific Time.

We will follow-up with an email if you were selected as the recipient of the award or not by Saturday, May 9, 2026
